What's this "animation"?

So I decided to go back to school . I decide to study  this  course Animation. 
OK, whats this animation? One who does not understand or unfamiliar would ask such a question. 


Well animation  is a way of manipulating pictures into a motion. These  cartoons that we see here everyday they being animated, as in made lively. That's what's  fascinating about animation. I'm gonna tell you something interesting that you probably don't know, in the world of animation nothing is impossible. You can make the impossible to come into reality. Meaning it's a fantasy that you can manifest. 

So that was just a brief of version of animation. I guess I always knew that I wanted to study animation and make my living  out of it. Ever since I was young was always captivated by the animated films and the idea of working with them even though I  had little knowledge about animation. Luckily for for me it wasn't that  hard to follow in that path because I always  had a drawing talent and I loved it. 

One might ask, how did my family  feel when I told  them that I  want to study animation. OK ,let me make it clear, my were supportive to what  I wanted to pursue in life and make the best of it . I know animation is not very  popular in South Africa but I intend on marketing it and making it known by writing African orientated stories that will empower nation in future . Since I have be studying at NEMISA ,as an artist  l have started seeing things and art in another perspective. I am even drawing differently .

So for me, to be able to animate and seeing your  work  come to life is the greatest  feeling ever.
